
Elrom Center for Air and Space Studies
About the Center
In December 2021, Tel Aviv University established the Elrom Center for Air and Space Policy and Strategy in collaboration with the Israeli Air Force, to harness academic research fields for the development and promotion of an interdisciplinary research infrastructure in the air and space domains.
The Center promotes theoretical and applied research alongside scholars from various academic disciplines, as well as researchers from the defense establishment in general and the Air Force in particular. The Center's main goals are to serve as a hub of learning and research for scholars and students from various faculties engaged in the air and space fields, to institutionalize sustainable academic engagement in Israel regarding air and space policy and strategy, and to cultivate a reserve of researchers and senior academics whose research addresses various aspects of these topics.
