Yirmi Shifferman

Yirmi Shifferman is a senior researcher specializing in airpower studies, with over thirty years of experience spanning both the defense establishment and academia. His research focuses on the operational and strategic employment of airpower, contemporary air warfare, and the relationship between military force and state policy. He has published academic studies on the use of airpower in the Russia–Ukraine war and on the Egyptian Air Force as a reflection of national policy and strategic objectives. Shifferman holds a B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies and an M.A. in Security Studies from Tel Aviv University.
